If the amend is high in relative supply it can lead to a rise in earnings. This can be an advantage to the labour market as it can indicate an increase in the employment rate, which in turn will cause demand for human resources to drop, this view has been supported by (Anon.,2015). If, by variance, supply is high relative to demand, employment costs would decrease. Yet, recent research Richard, et al., (2005) suggests that changes in labour taxes may have a permanent impact on unemployment due to taxes being shifted onto labour. Moreover, she presents the results of her researches in which she finds that ââ¬Å"students with a growth mindset seek out learning, develop deeper learning strategies, and strive for an honest assessment of their weaknessesâ⬠¦Ã¢â¬ and thanks to this their school performance was better that their peers.Professor Dweck believes a growth mindset might be broaden, and to do so, we should praise students for effort put in the process of studying rather than for their intelligence. When they strongly believe that they are so intelligent, they could refuse further learning after making mistakes. They think that ââ¬Å"success means theyââ¬â¢re smart, and they conclude difficulty means they are notâ⬠.Moreover, we can also teach students the growth mindset what have a contribution to increasing their motivation. Also, familiarizing student with arcana of the work of brain helps them to comprehend the process of learning. Author believes that the successful twenty-first century learner will possess a lot of passion, curiosity and resilience. How to cite 21st Century Learners, Papers

7 Tips for Writing an Email Message
7 Tips for Writing an Email Message 7 Tips for Writing an Email Message 7 Tips for Writing an Email Message By Mark Nichol Whatââ¬â¢s so difficult about writing an email? Nothing. Thatââ¬â¢s the problem: Itââ¬â¢s too easy, and you should take care that a professional message is just that especially if you use email primarily for social interaction and are unaccustomed to sending business emails. Here are some guidelines for businesslike electronic communication. 1. If you write professional emails from a personal address rather than a company account, use a professional-looking address. Donââ¬â¢t ditch your quirky or ribald account name, but acquire a more sedate one, consisting simply of your name and/or a description of your professional services, for business communications. Also, avoid using animations, complicated fonts, and busy backgrounds in your messages. 2. Use the message header to encourage recipients to read your message, stating the purpose of the message distinctly and concisely. 3. Use a formal salutation unless youââ¬â¢re on a first-name basis with the recipient for example, ââ¬Å"Mr. Smithâ⬠or ââ¬Å"Dear Ms. Jones,â⬠followed by a colon. If you donââ¬â¢t know the recipientââ¬â¢s name and canââ¬â¢t obtain it by contacting the recipientââ¬â¢s company, write ââ¬Å"Dear Sir or Madam.â⬠(Double-check now that youââ¬â¢ve entered the recipientââ¬â¢s correct email address and have not inadvertently included any other addresses.) 4. Introduce yourself and the purpose of your message in the first paragraph. Use short paragraphs separated by line spaces to clearly and concisely communicate well-organized information. Donââ¬â¢t clutter your message with detailed apologies (though you should certainly begin with a brief apology if your message is overdue, and then get to the point) or with digressions. 5. Conclude with a summary and, if you have any requests, a courteous and concise explanation of actions you would like the recipient to perform. If you are not requesting a response, simply inform or remind the recipient that your services are available, or mention something similar that is appropriate to the context. 6. Sign off with ââ¬Å"Sincerely,â⬠ââ¬Å"Respectfully,â⬠or the like and your full name, followed by your job title and company name, as well as your companyââ¬â¢s website and other social-media contact information, or your own if you are self-employed or are contacting the recipient as an individual, not as a representative of a company. 7. Use your email programââ¬â¢s spell-checking tool, proofread your message, and read it aloud in a separate pass. If you used any language that might not be perceived as professional, save the message without sending it and review it later, when you can be more objective about whether it is appropriate. Alzheimer's disease Research Paper Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 2000 words
Alzheimer's disease - Research Paper Example As of 2006, there were 26.6 million Alzheimerââ¬â¢s sufferers in the world; it is predicted that roughly one in every eighty-five people will suffer from Alzheimerââ¬â¢s by the year 2050 (ââ¬Å"Alzheimerââ¬â¢s Disease Fact Sheetâ⬠). There is no definite cause of Alzheimerââ¬â¢s. Many scientists believe that the disease can be caused by genetics, environment, and lifestyle, though even these have not been definitely pinpointed. It is believed that whatever it is that does cause Alzheimerââ¬â¢s gradually happens over a long period of time, especially if the aforementioned factors are part of the cause of the disease. However, the effect that the disease has on the brain tissue, the starting point of the catalyst for the symptoms of Alzheimerââ¬â¢s, is very clear. The disease damages and kills brain cells and the brain tissue deteriorates. Since doctors and scientists have been unable to determine the exact cause of the disease, they instead focus on what happens before and after a person has been diagnosed with Alzheimerââ¬â¢s. There are two types of neuron damage that have been seen most in people with Alzheimerââ¬â¢s: plaques and tangles. Plaques are masses of a normally harmless protein known as beta-amyloid that has the ability to interfere with communication between brain cells (Feng et al). The abnormal processing of this protein has shown to effect functions of the brain. Tangles involve the protein known as tau. This protein is important for the brain to function properly, but when they undergo alterations they become twisted. During the twisting, the neurons become damaged, causing them to die. When these two proteins react the way they do, they slow down or completely destroy vital components of the brain, thus negatively effecting the functioning of the brain and the memory. Another possible cause of Alzheimerââ¬â¢s is a breakdown of myelin in the brain, an event that usually takes place as a person gets older. When myelin breaks down, there
